About the Mapping Portal

The Copernicus Sentinel-5P Mapping Portal provides global maps for data from the Copernicus Sentinel-5P satellite. These maps are based on the operational Sentinel-5P Level-2 products that can be retrieved from the CDSE as well as the pre-operational Sentinel-5P Level-2 products as available from S5P-PAL. Maps are provided at different time averaging scales, ranging from daily maps to yearly maps.
All maps provided by this portal were generated by S5P-PAL, the Sentinel-5P Product Algorithm Laboratory. The Level-3 data files used to generate the maps have also been generated by S5P-PAL and can be downloaded from the S5P-PAL Data Portal, or directly from the mapping portal by using the download button below each map.
About the Maps
The MAPS tab is the main section of this portal, where you can use a drop-down menu to select various parameters (core quantity, product variant, time period), which will then show the corresponding map.
Further button and menu controls shown below the map then allow you to choose a different available period, to interactively compare two periods, or to download the underlying grid file.

The USE CASES tab is an informative page where we show a variety of news items that involve earth observation data provided by the Copernicus Sentinel-5P mission.
